Job 34 - RV1895

1. Moreover Elihu answered and said,

 Sentiment: Weakly Positive

2. Hear my words, ye wise men;

 Sentiment: Strongly Positive

3. For the ear trieth words,

 Sentiment: Strongly Negative

3. As the palate tasteth meat.

 Sentiment: Strongly Negative

4. Let us choose for us that which is right:

4. Let us know among ourselves what is good.

5. For Job hath said, I am righteous,

 Sentiment: Weakly Negative

5. And God hath taken away my right:

7. What man is like Job,

7. Who drinketh up scorning like water?

8. And walketh with wicked men.

9. That he should delight himself with God

14. If he set his heart upon man,

16. Hearken to the voice of my words.

18. Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art vile?

18. Or to nobles, Ye are wicked?

19. Nor regardeth the rich more than the poor?

19. For they all are the work of his hands.

20. In a moment they die, even at midnight;

20. The people are shaken and pass away,

21. And he seeth all his goings.

26. He striketh them as wicked men

26. In the open sight of others;

28. And he heard the cry of the afflicted.

30. That the godless man reign not,

31. I will not offend any more:

33. For thou must choose, and not I:

33. Therefore speak what thou knowest.

34. Men of understanding will say unto me,

34. Yea, every wise man that heareth me:

35. Job speaketh without knowledge,

35. And his words are without wisdom.

36. Would that Job were tried unto the end,

37. For he addeth rebellion unto his sin,

37. He clappeth his hands among us,

37. And multiplieth his words against God.
