Be of good courage and strengthen your hearts, all ye that wait in the Lord.
¶ If thou art slack in the day of tribulation, thy strength shall be reduced.
Hast thou not known? Hast thou not heard that the God of the age is the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth? He does not faint, nor is he weary; and there is no one that can attain to his intelligence.
He gives power to the faint; and to those that have no might he increases strength.
The young men faint and are weary; the children stumble and fall;
but those that wait for the Lord shall have new strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, I will rather glory in my weaknesses that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
Therefore I am content in weaknesses, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake, for when I am weak, then am I strong.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
